Our Opinion: Set in a colonial building from 19th century, about a 15 minute walk away from the centre of town. The hotel offers 37 apartments and 9 suites with wooden furniture, air conditioning and minibar, 2 rooftop pools with panoramic views of the city and a 24-hour fitness centre. Nearby there are plenty of historical attractions in Ouro Preto, such as St. Francis de Paul, Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Joseph and Pico Itacolomi churches, Tiradentes Square, chapels, museums and more.

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches...
