Our Opinion: Tierra Patagonia is a new hotel and sister property to the excellent Tierra Atacama in San Pedro de Atacama. It is a modern stylish hotel and offers an all-inclusive package with excellent cuisine, beautiful light, comfy rooms and a wide range of activities led by experienced guides. This is a welcome addition to the relatively few hotels of any quality in the Torres del Paine area and is one of the finest hotels in the area.

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches... Children and parents ticked off many from our “must do things in our lives” list. In terms of lodges, would rank Pacuare and Lapa Rios equal first.
