Location: 45 km from Los Cabos International Airport, and the hotel offers its guests an airport shuttle for an extra fee. The hotel is only 2 km from Cabo San Lucas centre.

Our Opinion: Situated between the mountains and the ocean, guests enter the hotel via Mexico’s only privately owned tunnel. The Resort at Pedregal offers private pools in rooms with ocean views, has 3 restaurants serving Mexican cuisine and it’s own private beach area. Guests can enjoy nearby activities such as windsurfing, diving, snorkelling, and more.

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches... Children and parents ticked off many from our “must do things in our lives” list. In terms of lodges, would rank Pacuare and Lapa Rios equal first.
