Location: Built over the Caribbean Sea, along a mile long coral reefed coast in Bocas del Toro Province.

Rooms: 9 rooms.

Facilities: Restaurant, bar.

Activities: Visiting nearby Islands of the Archipelago, snorkelling at the coral reefs, boat rides, hiking, motorized canoe river tips, scuba diving, fishing.

Children: Children are welcome.

Our Opinion: Set over crystal clear waters of Bocas del Toro archipelago, this lodge features nine exclusive cabins, made from natural building materials combined with eco-friendly energy systems such as the solar panels and gas cooling in all refrigerators and freezers. Impressive sunsets, and plentiful of activities. Definitely one of our favourites!

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches... Children and parents ticked off many from our “must do things in our lives” list. In terms of lodges, would rank Pacuare and Lapa Rios equal first.
