Bazaruto Archipelago

A chain of five islands in the Bazaruto Channel broke away from the mainland back in the mists of time and Ilha de Benguerra is just one of these tropical and historical islands.

Why visit Bazaruto Archipelago ?

Gazetted back in 1971 as a National Park, Benguerra Island offers an idyllic and tranquil setting within the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and is home to just a handful of lodges. The area is famed for its beautiful beaches, superb snorkelling, diving and deep-sea fishing as well as large tracts of unspoilt forest, wetland and savannah.
