Our Opinion: Situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape, the carefully renovated 1852 Victorian homestead of Rosenhof Country House is the perfect base from which to explore the old Victorian buildings of the town, as well as the nearby impressive ostrich farms and the Cango Caves. Surrounded by a colourful rose garden, hence its name, Rosenhof Country House is a little oasis in this starkly beautiful Karoo landscape.
