Location: A scenic 1 hour speed-boat ride from the bustle of Phuket or Krabi, through the spectacular, world famous Phang Nga bay, Paradise Resort is situated in a remote corner of the idyllic island of Koh Yao Noi. Nestled within a national reserve tropical rain-forest on its own bay, and surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, the location is truly impressive.
Rooms: 72 rooms spread up a hillside and 6 villas along the beach.
Facilities; 4 restaurants and bars all close to the beach, spa
Activities: Activities centre ranging from relaxing Thai batik painting and Thai cooking to adventure sea-kayaking or scuba diving, jungle hiking and cycling, yoga, beach volleyball, badminton table tennis, long-boat excursions to national park.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome.
Our opinion: For those seeking a secluded, affordable, comfortable resort with light and practical rooms and a dramatic scenic location with a wonderful sandy 400 m private beach (only swimmable at high tide). Paradise excels in offering varied activities and life revolves around nature and the beach, excellent spa and F&B. Recommended to use plunge pool deluxe studios with stunning views over Phang Nga bay or the beachfront pool villas. (not private). The well managed activities centre makes it ideal for a family with energetic teenagers. No children’s club or entertainment.
