Location: In the heart of Georgetown on a quiet residential street.

Activities: Visits to city highlights such as the Stabroek market, St George’s Cathedral, St Andrew’s Kirk, the test cricket ground, rum distillery and the beautiful Botanical Gardens.

Children: Children are welcome.

Our Opinion: Arguably the nicest hotel in the city. Situated in a delightful old, colonial building dating back to the 1840’s, Cara Lodge Hotel blends colonial charm with modern sophistication. It has a popular restaurant and is a friendly hotel in the heart of Georgetown.

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches...
