Location: South East Madagascar. The camp is a 2h45 min road transfer from Fort Dauphin or a short light aircraft flight.
Rooms: 6 bungalows with large uncovered decked terrace. All rooms & main area located few steps from the beach and surrounded by the forest.
Activities: The lodge is a fantastic place for those in search of relaxation and beach-therapy and there is plenty to do to for those who like to remain active. “Robinson Crusoe” picnics on uninhabited islands and deserted beaches, snorkelling, fishing trips, Mangrove tours, forest walks, long walks on the beach, canoeing, cultural visits and whale watching (June – November) are amongst the most popular activities.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome at Manafiafy Beach & Rainforest Lodge.
Our View: Manafiafy is Mandrare River Camp’s sister property and it is just as fabulous as Mandrare. This eco- lodge is a rainforest lodge and a beach lodge all rolled into one making it a very versatile choice. Like Mandrare River Camp its location is off the beaten track. The unspoilt stretch of coast, the mangrove, littoral forest and the silhouette of mountains in the background make this part of Madagascar a truly stunning spot!
