Location: Southern end of Lake Gutierrez within Nahuel Huapi National Park, 25 minutes from downtown San Carlos de Bariloche.

Rooms: Mountain Lodge: 2 houses with 4 independent rooms each and 3 private villas – capacity 28 guests.

Facilities: Boardroom, non-denominational temple, organic vegetable garden & greenhouse, boathouse.

Activities: Horseback riding, trekking, kayaking & boat rides, well-being, nature & bird-watching, fishing.

Children: Children are welcome.

Our Opinion: An enchanting eco-lodge nested within the grounds of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. This is a beautifully run estancia with friendly staff, great service and loads of activities – an ideal place to enjoy the great outdoors.

"Many thanks indeed. Fab holiday! Everything went incredibly smoothly, and all the staff/drivers etc charming and all our connections etc went smoothly. Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches... Children and parents ticked off many from our “must do things in our lives” list. In terms of lodges, would rank Pacuare and Lapa Rios equal first.
