One of our most popular tours in Vietnam is the fantastic evening Vespa excursion, where the tour launches into a street food adventure. Spend the evening venturing to favourite local eating spots where you will experience the nightlife the way locals do, all from the back of a vintage Vespa scooter.
Drive through busy streets and alleys to see the night life of locals and enjoy street food and drinks, places that foreigners would hardly venture to.
Designated a World Heritage site in 1994, Halong Bay is a truly stunning seascape of over 3000 thousand limestone islands that rise out of the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. Known within local folklore as ‘The Dragon Descending to the Sea’, the area’s tiny islands are dotted with caves, grottoes and beaches and the surrounding scenery of towering mountains and lush forests is one of Vietnam’s most dramatic natural sights.
The best way to explore the area is to relax on one of the delightful junks (boats) and float amongst this awe inspiring scenery.
Visit Hoi An’s colourful market, where you experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas. Take the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients you will use in the cooking lesson.
You then board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely & scenic cruise along Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School.
Try your hand at some of Vietnam’s well-known dishes and after the lesson, indulge in the fruits of your labour over lunch.
The far north-west of Vietnam is a world of towering peaks, lush river valleys and colourful hill tribes such as the Dzao and H’Mong scattered amongst the hills.
Sapa is reached by an overnight train or by car, thanks to the newly opened highway from Hanoi and offers the most dramatic and interesting trekking in the country. It is the launch pad for treks to see the various hill tribes and their villages. Each group has its own distinctive style of dress.
Vietnam is an all year round destination however there are many local weather patterns. Central Vietnam is arguably best between late March and August while North and South are favourable between November and March.
