Location: The camp lies in a secluded position on the edge of a forest in a private 250,000 acres concession in the south-eastern corner of the Masai Mara bordering the Mara, Serengeti and Loliondo reserves.
Rooms: Four luxury family & honeymoon tents and a private bush villa. The spacious traditional white tents have been elegantly decorated and furnished with original safari antiques and boast en suite bathrooms with safari tubs, bucket showers, flush loos and an adjacent dressing area. Each tent also has a canopied verandah and is carefully positioned to ensure maximum privacy.

Activities: Day and night game drives, guided bush walks, cultural visits, river swimming and fishing, massage and spa treatments, balloon safaris. Being based on a private concession area it is possible to head out into the bush not only on traditional game drives in areas where you will come across no other tourists, but also on foot for fascinating bush walks and night game drives. Surprise bush meals and sundowners are also part of the experience to ensure every day is different.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome.
Our Opinion: Harking back to the wild and romantic days of the 1920s, this stunning camp has captured the very essence of what it was like to be on safari almost a century ago when the renowned white hunters of the time such as Denys Finch Hatton and Bror von Blixen used to head into the bush for weeks at a time with all the luxuries of the era. Calvin Cottar has assembled an extremely professional group of experienced guides who will take you out on game drives &bush walks throughout the camp’s private concession and the rest of the Masai Mara.
