Location: Overlooking a waterhole frequented by wildlife, close to the Mara River.
Rooms: 17 comfortably furnished tents, each with its own en suite bathroom with flush toilet and hot running water.
Facilities: Dining tent, bar, bush meals. Elegant candlelit dinners are served in the dining tent, whilst after dinner you can sit around the campfire enjoying liqueurs, stories and the amazing star-studded skies of the African night.
Activities: Game drives, hot air balloon rides, walking safaris, cultural visits, overnight trips to Mfangano Island.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome.
Our Opinion: With a superb position next to a water hole that attracts elephant, lion, giraffe, waterbuck and many other animals, the camp is an excellent base for game viewing in the Mara. You cross the river by boat in order to reach the camp, which is also the base for sunrise hot air balloon safaris.
