Location: An old colonial farmhouse situated on a ranch on the north-western shore of Lake Naivasha.

Our Opinion: Nestling in the shade of a grove of wild fig and acacia trees, Loldia House is set amongst beautifully manicured lawns on the shores of Lake Naivasha and enjoys superb views across the lake with the dormant volcano, Mount Longonot rising dramatically beyond. This is a working farm of around 8,000 acres and to explore the farm either on foot or by vehicle is a fascinating experience which will bring you into contact not only with the farm’s livestock, but also herds of buffalo, waterbuck, impala and zebra, as well as a huge variety of birds ranging from ostriches to sunbirds. Loldia also has a motor boat for exploring the waters of Lake Naivasha. The lodge is also ideally located for trips to Lake Nakuru National Park and Hell’s Gate National Park.
