Our Opinion: A wonderful, unique hideaway lodge in the highlands of Nyika National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic destinations. Nyika is home to herds of eland, zebra, roan antelope and reedbuck and also has one of the highest densities of leopard in Central Africa. More than 400 bird species have been recorded including the Denham’s bustard, Wattled crane and the endemic Red-winged francolin. Between September – April a myriad of wild flowers and orchids bursts forth across the plateau in a dramatic and vivid display.
