Rooms: 12 tastefully decorated and spacious suites. The Elegant Suites are ideally located close to the main homestead and overlook the central swimming pool. Each suite is individually designed and offer a large bedroom, bathroom and private patio. The Luxury and Superior Suites all have access to private loft rooms that are specially furnished for children with their own en suite bathrooms. The Luxury Suites have secluded courtyards and water features whilst the Superior Suites have private pools, which enjoy magnificent views of the estate.
Facilities: Restaurant, bar, spa, swimming pool, gym, kid’s playroom. The historic dining room at Kurland creates an intimate and romantic backdrop for the exquisitely presented culinary delights from a constantly evolving menu and impressive wine list. As another dining option, Katarina’s restaurant offers a light yet extensive bistro style menu: the popular option during the summer months is dining al fresco on the verandah or inside by the log fire during the winter months.

Our Opinion: On an estate purchased by Baron Peter Behr over half a century ago, this family homestead has now been lovingly transformed into a luxury boutique hotel. The estate has retained much of its age-old reputation for great hospitality and a strong family-friendly atmosphere.
