Location: Tea Trails, the only Relais & Chateau property in Sri Lanka, comprises of 4 bungalows (Norwood, Tientsin, Summerville and Castlereagh) in the heart of the Tea Country about 1250m above sea level.Two of the bungalows are lakeside and the other two are hill side.
Rooms: Each bungalow is small with 4/5 rooms.
Facilities: Each bungalow has Swimming pool. They all have similar facilities but please check with your consultant if you have specific requirements. Some of the bungalows have a croquet lawn or tennis court for example.
Activities: “The Tea Trails Experience” which includes a visits of the tea factory and tea plantations, walking, enjoying the delightful food, climbing Adam’s Peak.
Children: Children of all ages welcome.
Our Opinion: The bungalows ooze “old world” charm in the style of the old English tea planters’ houses with beautifully kept lawns and gardens, croquet sets, large living room with old books, antique maps, old wooden writing desks, cosy sofas and large fireplaces. Enjoy the impeccable service and the stunning views… and with all meals, afternoon tea and pre-dinner cocktails included in the rate, Tea trails also offers a fabulous culinary experience!
