Location: Estancia Cristina is located in a unique corner in Los Glaciares National Park on the Northwest shore of the Argentine Lake.

Rooms: 20 comfortable rooms distributed in 5 cabins.

Facilities: Restaurant.

Activities: 4×4 rides, horseback riding, mountain biking and fishing.

Children: Children are welcome.

Our Opinion: Founded in 1941 by Joseph Percival Masters, an Englishman who came to Patagonia with his wife in 1900, this stunning place still maintains its essence. Full day program grants alternatives to those who prefer a quiet afternoon of walk and history as well as those who are into adventure with trekking and 4×4 wheel drive rides.

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches... Children and parents ticked off many from our “must do things in our lives” list. In terms of lodges, would rank Pacuare and Lapa Rios equal first.
