Location: In a modern building overlooking the Golfo Nuevo waterfront in Puerto Madrin, a few kilometers away from Peninsula Valdes.

Rooms: 76 rooms. Many have gulf views, and some provide balconies. Suites add living areas.

Facilities: Spa, executive lounge, bar, lounge, hot tub.

Activities: Sightseeing in and around Peninsula Valdes. Highlights include the magellanic penguins, sea lions, elephant seals, Commerson’s dolphin, guanacos, rheas and a wide variety of other sea birds. Hike around Peninsula Valdes’s spectacular cliff-lined coastline. Learn from the naturalists about the diverse flora & fauna.

Children: Children are welcome.

Our Opinion: Located on the main street within a short walk of many restaurants and overlooking the pier, this is an excellent place to stay after a day of touring the natural reserves of Peninsula Valdes.

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches... Children and parents ticked off many from our “must do things in our lives” list. In terms of lodges, would rank Pacuare and Lapa Rios equal first.
