Our Opinion: Set in a renovated 17 century building, Pousada do Mondego offers 24 colonial style suites with panoramic views of the city. Located next to many attractions, such as Opera House, Sao Francisco de Assis Church and Tiradentes Square where many museums are located. Guests can also take tours in historical “jardineira” buses around the city or visit other nearby towns by van.

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches...
