Our Opinion: Situated on a 53 thousand hectare ranch. Caiman Ecological Refuge consists of 3 lodges: the Main lodge complex – close to important roads used for photographic safaris, the Cordilheira lodge – between a forested hillside close to local wildlife and the lake, and the Baiazinha lodge – located on the shores of a lake. Each lodge has its own swimming pool, air-conditioned rooms, dining room and living room. The local area is home to a wide array of wildlife including anteaters, monkeys, hundreds of species of birds, caimans and more.
