Location: The lodge is located close to the base of the Iwokrama Canopy Walkway in the heart of the Iwokrama Forest eco-system.

Rooms: 8 rooms.

Facilities: Restaurant, bar.

Activities: Day and night hikes in the rainforest and birdwatching from the Canopy Walkway.

Children: Children are welcome.

Our Opinion: Surrounded by tropical rainforest, Atta Rainforest Lodge is simple, yet comfortable and perfectly located beside the Iwokrama canopy walkway – a series of suspension bridges and platforms. Tasty Guayanese cuisine is a highlight along with the incredible variety of flora & fauna.

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches... Children and parents ticked off many from our “must do things in our lives” list. In terms of lodges, would rank Pacuare and Lapa Rios equal first.
