Posada Barrancas Mirador

Location: The Posada Barrancas Mirador is located in a fantastic position perched on the edge of the Copper Canyon near to its highest point.

Rooms: 65 guestrooms.

Facilities: Restaurants, bar, lounge, souvenir, gift shop, tour desk, internet, sun deck.

Activities: Bird watching, helicopter and airplane tours, hiking, biking, horse riding, mountain biking.

Children: Children are welcome.

Our Opinion: Located at the canyon’s edge surrounded by pine trees with a spectacular view. Guests can enjoy excursions to nearby Tarahumara Indians villages, shop native crafts, visit the inhabited Tarahumara caves below or hike down the canyon floor. Each room has a private balcony overlooking the canyon.

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches...
