Rolling grass plains and scattered acacia bush sit against the backdrop of the city skyscrapers and are home to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, spotted hyena, buffalo, giraffe and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded.
