Facilities: Swimming pool, spa, shop, 2 restaurants.
Children: River cruising is less suitable for small children. Children over 4 welcome and over 12 require their own cabin.
Our opinion: Evoking the same heritage style as the Strand hotel, an era of explorers, the Strand cruise is a luxury boat with stylish comfortable cabins with floor to ceiling windows, choices of dining alfresco on the top deck or in the restaurant and excellent personalized service. Setting it apart is the boats top deck with its fair size pool and very attractive sun-deck area.
