Location: On the banks of the Munyanga river, facing the Impenetrable Forest.
Rooms: 8 rooms.
Facilities: Restaurant, bar.
Activities: Birdwatching, gorilla tracking, tree planting, nature walks, community and garden tours.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome, but only children over 15 may track the gorillas.
Our Opinion: Situated on the hillside, overlooking the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. All 10 rooms come with large glass doors leading onto terraces with spectacular views of the forest surroundings. The rooms also have large en-suite bathrooms, spacious living rooms and beds with mosquito netting. The lodge is a perfect base for gorilla tracking, with the nearby jungles hosting half the world’s population of the highly endangered mountain gorillas.
