Location: Nestled amongst granite boulders with sweeping views across the Aba Huab valley.
Rooms: 9 beautifully designed bush bungalows and 1 suite, with spacious decks to admire the views, and partially open, outdoor bathrooms.
Facilities: The raised central area consists of four thatched domes overlooking the riverbed and houses a lounge, bar, restaurant and plunge pool.
Activities: Game drives, visiting local villages, guided walks, bush dining.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome.
Our Opinion: Situated in an unique wilderness area, Camp Kipwe has a magnificent setting to explore an extraordinary part of Damaraland. The camp is accessible to the ancient San rock art sites at Twyfelfontein, as well as the Aba Huab river valley which is home to desert-adapted elephant, lion and a variety of antelope.
