Location: Luxury mobile camp following the wildebeest migration inside the Serengeti National Park.
Rooms: 6 spacious accommodation tents: the classic bush-style camp offers great comfort in the remote wilderness. The en suite bathrooms have traditional safari-style bucket showers and short-drop toilets with hot and cold water available on demand.
Facilities: A separate dining tent is set in the middle of the camp and the camp crew takes a great pride in preparing sumptuous meals with fresh bread baked daily and you dine in the large mess tent or under the stars. In the evenings sundowners are enjoyed around the campfire under the starlit African sky.
Activities: 4×4 game drives on the plains of the Serengeti.
Children: Children aged 8 and over are welcome.
Our Opinion: This is a wonderfully adventurous way to explore the Serengeti whilst not compromising on comfort. The immediacy of sleeping under canvas whilst hearing the rumble of elephants or the roar of a lion is compelling. The location of the camp within the Serengeti ecosystem varies according to the time of the year, in order to try to be within reach of the wildebeest migration. The camp is operated on a shared basis, and there is the option to enjoy game drives on a shared or private basis.
