Tarangire Treetops

Location: Tarangire Treetops is situated in Tarangire Conservation Area, a wildlife management area of 57,000 acres bordering the National Park and the Maasai Steppe amid rolling, baobab-studded hills with views to Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley wall.

Rooms: Each of the 20 guest rooms, perched high up on platforms amongst the baobab and marula trees, features a private balcony and lounge area, as well as en suite bathroom facilities. All the rooms have been stylishly furnished using natural materials blended with contemporary African décor.

Facilities: Encasing a vast baobab tree the spacious dining room, reception and lounge area overlooks the swimming pool and a waterhole that sees a constant flow of wild animals.

Activities: Day & night game drives, Maasai village tour, bush lunches and dinners.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome.

Our Opinion:  The lodge has a magical feel and exudes a timeless essence with its majestic trees and the beautiful landscape. With the natural beauty of Tarangire’s hills and dry river beds begging to be explored, you can enjoy walking safaris, night game drives and Maasai village visits with the lodge guides, as well as game drives on the conservancy and in the national park.
