Location: Overlooking the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Rooms: 8 bandas.

Facilities: Laundry service, WiFi, gift shop.

Activities: Gorilla tracking, visiting nearby villages, guided nature walks, birdwatching, hiking, tea processing tour.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome.

Our Opinion: Frequently visited by the gorillas themselves, Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge has 8 stone and tile bandas, just above the forest. Each room has a wooden bed with mosquito nets, veranda and en-suite bathroom. Guests can enjoy hiking to nearby waterfalls, birdwatching, touring the nearby Bwindi hospital and communities and more.
