Harare

The capital and most populous city of Zimbabwe. Situated in the north-east of the country in the heart of historic Mashonaland, the city has an estimated population of over 1.6 million.

Why visit Harare ?

The city is crowded with market stalls and vendors selling myriad goods. Just outside the city is the ‘Wild is Life’, a wildlife sanctuary that looks after endangered and orphaned animals. Other places worth visiting are the Zimbabwe Museum of Human Sciences, National Botanic Gardens and the National Gallery of Zimbabwe.
