Our Opinion: Located on the stunning archipelago of Fernando de Noronha, a designated World Heritage Site made up of 21 islands of volcanic origin. Pousada Maravilha features 5 bungalows and 3 suites offering breathtaking views of Baia do Sueste beach and the volcanic rock formations. The archipelago is home to a large number of flora and fauna, including sea turtles, fish, coral reefs, birds, dolphins, and also features great scuba diving spots nearby.

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches... Children and parents ticked off many from our “must do things in our lives” list. In terms of lodges, would rank Pacuare and Lapa Rios equal first.
