Our Opinion: Specializing in nature tourism, this lodge is set in the village of El Valle de Anton right next to the center of extinct volcano (the largest inhabited crater in the Western Hemisphere). One of the best sites for birdwatching in the country.

Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches...
