Location: Located just outside Carmelo, 2.5 miles from Puerto Camachi, within a vineyard in the historic 18 century Narbona estate.

Rooms: 5 Rooms.

Facilities: Restaurant, bar, library, swimming pool, massage, fitness centre, free WiFi.

Activities: Guided tours, private beach in Puerto Camacho, cycling, wine and cheese tasting, billiards, fishing, golf, tennis, horse riding, kayaks and canoes, helicopter rides.

Children: Children are welcome.

Our Opinion: This is a charming lodge where you can not only spend your days relaxing by the pool, but also exploring the vineyards, wine tasting or performing a wide range of other local activities.

"Many thanks indeed. Fab holiday! Everything went incredibly smoothly, and all the staff/drivers etc charming and all our connections etc went smoothly. Highlights included white water rafting, zip wires, releasing new-born turtles into the sea, being in a boat amongst 200 dolphins, riding on beaches... Children and parents ticked off many from our “must do things in our lives” list. In terms of lodges, would rank Pacuare and Lapa Rios equal first.
