The South & South-West coasts of the island are blessed with beautiful beaches and a few nights of R&R on the beach makes the perfect end (or start) to a touring itinerary of Sri Lanka!

Sri Lanka really has a fabulous range of boutique hotels on the coast and inland (like the Why House and Kahanda Kanda) offering very comfortable accommodation. These are usually charming, full of character, colourful and with a big emphasis on serving freshly cooked Sri Lankan dishes which are well known for being simply delicious.
