Gazetted back in 1971 as a National Park, Benguerra Island offers an idyllic and tranquil setting within the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and is home to just a handful of lodges. The area is famed for its beautiful beaches, superb snorkelling, diving and deep-sea fishing as well as large tracts of unspoilt forest, wetland and savannah.
