Horse Riding Safaris

Horse riding in Botswana is a superlative experience, offering the chance to enjoy the untramelled spaces of true wilderness areas and often in the company of big game. It is amazing to see how close the animals let one approach when on horseback, especially buffalo, giraffe, zebra and lechwe.

Riding is possible as an activity whilst on safari in the Selinda Reserve at Raw Botswana and also from Royal Tree Lodge just outside Maun.

Overnight horse riding  are also operated in the Makgadigadi Pans by Robyn & David Foot.
