The archaeological site of Teotihuacan is one of the country’s major tourist attractions. In the past it was one of the largest and most complex metropolis in pre-hispanic Mexico. Its main structures include the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, as well as an on-site museum. Another highlight are the floating gardens of Xochimilco.
