  • "We had such a brilliant 2 weeks in Mauritius. A truly lovely spot at Shanti - beautiful and secluded with a great team ready to support us and make our stay as relaxed as possible. The food was a real delight ... all in all, we feel very lucky to have had such a great time". Thank you once again to you and your team for coordinating this for us.”

    Hayes Honeymoon, Mauritius, Indian Ocean

  • I can't tell you both how relaxing the stay was. My other half described it as a 'hospital for stressed people' as we both found the service to be outstanding and the whole place was cleverly done.

    Mr F, Oman Holiday

  • I couldn't have asked for anything more of World Odyssey on my trip to Ethiopia. They were extremely prompt and efficient throughout the complicated planning, and nothing was too much trouble. The Ethiopian agents, drivers and guides were knowledgeable, charming and helpful without exception, and Ethiopia lived up to our highest expectations.

C A N A D A Whether you want to drive it, hike i C A N A D A

Whether you want to drive it, hike it, bike it, raft it, climb it or watch it, Canada’s stunning Eastern Atlantic coastal region has it all. Encompassing many rivers, pine forests, mountains and beaches New Brunswick is all about getting outside and revelling in the great outdoors. The Bay of Fundy is famed for having the most extreme tides in the world; Halifax boasts the star-shaped Fort George and the best lobsters can be found at Shediac. And yet at the very heart of this region is The Cabot Trail, a scenic highway on Cape Breton Island that loops around its northern tip offering a world of quaint fishing villages, stunning National Parks and a fascinating insight into its rich Scottish heritage.

Our hearts go out to our friends in Morocco đź’” Our hearts go out to our friends in Morocco đź’”

Many of you will have seen the news about the devastating earthquake that took place in Morocco late last Friday evening. The epicentre occurred in the Atlas Mountains and there has been significant damage and loss of life in some of these remote villages.
In case anybody would like to help but is unsure how to, then two excellent charitable foundations are the EFA Foundation https://www.efamorocco.org/ and the TravelLink Foundation https://travellinkfoundation.org/ both of which do incredible work with the local communities.
We have been liaising with our partners in Morocco since the earthquake on how we can all help and the message is loud and clear that although the next few weeks will inevitably be focused on looking after those affected and getting back to normal, after that the best way is to encourage tourism on which the country is so heavily dependent. Much of the country was physically unaffected by the quake and is operating as normal, but helping to increase tourism will gradually help to mend the psychological damage, so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to plan a trip to Morocco in due course. It will help them enormously!

T H E G A L A P A G O S Lying 1000 kilometres ( T H E G A L A P A G O S

Lying 1000 kilometres (600 miles) off Ecuador’s Pacific Coast, the Galapagos Islands emerged approximately 5 million years ago as a result of violent volcanic action. The archipelago now consists of 13 major islands, 6 smaller ones, and scores of islets that are all part of Ecuador’s National Park system.

In 1835, the naturalist Charles Darwin first visited the islands and discovered this 'living labatory' which inspired his writings on the theory of evolution. Many of the animals on the Galapagos Islands have developed into different species from their continental relatives, and because they have never experienced man as a predator, they show no fear of humans.

The best way to visit the islands is to join a cruise, many of which last for 7 nights, although it is possible to join a shorter cruise on selected boats.

@ecoventura_galapagos offer three spectacular luxury yachts and have taken luxury cruising in the Galapagos to the next level. They are the only vessels in the Galapagos Islands to be accepted as a member of the esteemed Relais & Châteaux collection.

Guests can choose one of two comprehensive 7 night itineraries to different islands, or combine both for a two-week exploration of the entire archipelago. Each itinerary highlights the very best of the Galapagos; the amazing wildlife, striking landscapes, magnificent marine environment and fascinating history.

E G Y P T Egypt is quite simply a living museum w E G Y P T

Egypt is quite simply a living museum with an astonishing wealth of history that never ceases to amaze those who visit this exotic melting pot of cultures and traditions. From the ancient Pharaohs, who ruled one of the world’s greatest ever dynasties for almost 3,000 years, to the Romans, Ottoman Turks and British who sought to occupy it, Egypt continues to exert an aura of fascination and timeless drama.

A cruise on the Nile is the most relaxing and enjoyable way to discover the true source of Egypt’s fabled history and the reason for its rise in status to become one of the world’s earliest and greatest civilisations. Likened by the ancient Egyptians to a lotus flower – the Delta being the flower and its valley the stem – the Nile is nothing short of the lifeblood of the country, creating the fertile soils necessary to grow abundant maize, sugar-cane, wheat and other vegetables and fruits.

As the world’s longest river, the Nile stretches for a total length of some 6680 km – originating as the White Nile from Lake Victoria in Uganda and as the Blue Nile from Lake Tana in the Ethiopian Highlands – the two rivers converge at Khartoum before flowing northwards into the Mediterranean.

Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site is accessed through Labuan Bajo. The park’s 29 islands are situated off the coast between Sumbawa and Flores.

The park was founded in 1980 to protect the Komodo Dragon, the world's largest lizard.

With an official count of more than 1,000 types of fish and 260 types of corals, the warm tropical waters of Komodo National Park are one of the most species-rich underwater environments on earth and the diving here is often ranked as some of the best in the world.
