Siwandu Camp

Location: On the shores of Lake Nzerakera, in the heart of one of the prime game viewing areas of the Selous Game Reserve.

Rooms: Each of the 12 luxury tents is set on a raised timber platform and equipped with en suite bathroom facilities. There are wonderful views over the river with the Beho Beho and Uluguru Mountains in the distance.

Facilities: Bar, lounge, library, swimming pool.

Activities: Game activities include game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, bush walks and game viewing by boat on the Rufiji River. You also have an opportunity to fish for cat or tiger fish, enjoy a cultural visit to Mloka, the local village, or simply relax by the swimming pool.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome.

Our Opinion: Siwandu Camp gives you the opportunity to explore the area in traditional safari style with exceptional comfort. With its prime position at the centre of the unique riverine and lake complex you are very likely to see elephant, buffalo, impala and hippo wandering around the camp.
