Above:  “Leopard in the grass.”   In the Masai Mara whilst staying at the Kicheche Mara camp; July 2019. We had watched the leopard climb a tree, gaze out over the valley we were watching from, and then slink through the grass a few yards from our vehicle.  Photo by Gabe Ashton.

Above:  “A hippo opens wide”. In the Masai Mara whilst staying at the Kicheche Mara camp; July 2019. This hippo was wallowing in a pond with a number of others. The good thing about the photo is that you can’t smell the water.  Photo by Gabe Ashton.
